Forward Conference XIII
at The Arena at Gwinnett Center
6400 Sugarloaf Parkway, Duluth
Over 12,000 students and youth leaders from across America and around the world will gather in Duluth's Gwinnett Arena for three days. They will rush down the concrete stairs of the arena for the best seats to hear music from some of their favorite artists and be inspired by thought-provoking messages from some of this generation’s leading faith-based speakers. Presented by Free Chapel in Gainesville, GA, Forward Conference provides an atmosphere where students can experience inspired teaching to propel them forward in their God-given purpose. “With so many influences on our young people today our mission is to be a positive voice of encouragement that helps equip them to build a successful road to their future,” says Jentezen Franklin, senior pastor of Free Chapel and father of five. Since 2005, Forward Conference has built this annual outreach event to inspire, impart and empower today’s generation of young people. Register today before it sells out. We look forward to seeing you in 2013!

"Our Children Our Future 2013
Concert for Autism"

at The Atlanta Civic Center
395 Piedmont Avenue, Atlanta
7:00pm,
The focus of this concert is to assist 30 youth, who have been diagnosed with Autism, with the financial support to attend The Aerie Experiences, or provide scholarships for skill assessments and cognitive training. As you may already know, Autism is a developmental disorder that appears in the first 3 years of life, and affects the brain's normal development of social and communication skills, placing limits and restrictions on those in which it effects. Children are our future and it is our job to train them up, educate them, and support them. This concert is to support those who are affected by Autism and to allow them to experience something they have been told they could never do. 800-965-6275

It has been a beautiful spring time and the members of the Christian Directed Singles have had good times to match. Donna made the arrangements for 15 folks to join together for dinner at a German restaurant and then to participate in the Stone Mountain Village Art Stroll.  Louis organized a Saturday night dinner and evening of bluegrass at Everett Brother’s Music Barn.  The Sunday afternoon Waltz Play ballroom dancing followed by a Mediterranean dinner was enjoyed by all who participated.  The Dolphin Show at the Georgia Aquarium was impressive and Joann’s selection of the Hard Rock Café was excellent.  One could not have asked for a better day for the hike at West Palisades Park that Louis led.  The great conversations and the good food made for a very pleasant dinner a LaNonna's Italian Restaurant. Great times with a great group of friends.

CTK Christian Directed Singles is open to age forty plus single men and women of all denominations. CDS is a safe place for Christian singles to share fellowship and fun. Members get together to enjoy, hiking, theater, sporting events, concerts, museums, singles dances, and much more. Christ The King Church, 5575 Peachtree Parkway  Norcross
